Position Summary:

The Experienced Forklift Operator is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to lift truck operations at the facility. This role requires proficiency in multiple areas of operation and the ability to manage daily tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Staging: Accurately select and prepare orders for loading, ensuring compliance with established procedures, including the use of RF systems and proper documentation.
  • Truck Loading: Efficiently load customer orders onto trucks, adhering to safety protocols and conducting thorough inspections to ensure complete shipments.
  • Receiving Operations: Skilled in receiving various goods, including packaging and ingredients, while ensuring proper storage, rotation, and documentation.
  • Production Assistance: Support the manufacturing process by managing finished goods, ensuring proper scanning and temperature control.
  • Troubleshooting: Capable of identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies, including managing defective materials and conducting location adjustments.
  • Safety Protocols: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of safety-sensitive operations, including battery maintenance and vehicle inspections.
  • Deck Supply Support: Assist in the supply of ingredients to production decks and manage the return of materials to the warehouse.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to FSMA regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma and relevant experience to fulfill the responsibilities outlined above.
Skills Required:
  • Minimum of one year of experience operating a stand-up forklift, with the ability to pass required certification.
  • Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in operating RF and desktop computers.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols relevant to the responsibilities of the position.
