Job Overview

Armand Corporation, a leading Construction Management firm, is seeking a full-time Construction Landscape Architect Inspector to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in construction relating to landscape inspection and reside in the area of Philadelphia, PA.

This is a full-time, On-site position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections on existing conditions, work being performed, and completed work for quality, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Prepare written documentation, including daily work reports, controlled inspection reports, daily time and material records, and document unit price work.
  • Identify and tag proper foliage to be used by architect.
  • Review and mark plans and specifications as needed to ensure and track compliance with the work performed.
  • Observe work conditions for compliance to applicable safety regulations.
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously; and follow through on projects to successful completion.
  • Communicate with various parties on the progress of the work in a timely manner.
  • Other related duties and tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Prior experience with construction or architecture in the field of landscaping, including the ability to identify and differentiate quality arbor species and those harmful to general construction and maintenance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or in a related field required.
  • 3 or more years of experience in construction supervision/inspection.
  • OSHA 10 at minimum (additional training will be provided, if required).
  • Knowledge of PWD Field Inspector Guide and Green Master Specifications is a plus but training will be provided, if required.
  • A valid drivers license is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken).
