As a Electrical Project Engineer in our Houston office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delegate work, identify specific tasks, and balance work for Engineers and Designers in order to meet client demands and individual project deadlines.
  • Provide appropriate level of training and reviews work to ensure established engineering principles are consistently used.
  • Ensure employee mentoring occurs through project work for staff at all levels of the project and plays an active role in teaching others.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required including an ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Must communicate well with clients, and with individuals at all levels in the organization.
  • Understanding of applicable design codes, design standards and specification requirements, and ability to interpret them.

Requirements:

  • BSEE/BSAE (or another engineering discipline) from an ABET accredited program.
  • 10+ years of experience designing power distribution and lighting building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
  • Professional engineering registration strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
