Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement daily lesson and activity plans that promote social skills and teamwork among children.
- Work directly with children with complex needs, providing individualized support and guidance to ensure their safety, well-being, and development.
- Maintain open communication with families, providing regular updates and progress reports.
- Manage program materials, equipment, and facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program evaluations, assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Minimum age 18
- 2 years' experience working with children with complex needs, preferred
- Meet educational and experience qualifications established by the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF)
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of 12 college credits in any one hundred-level or above college coursework within five years of employment
- Current negative TB test, other required vaccinations, and portable background check
