We are seeking a highly skilled Security Guard to join our team in Albany, NY. As a Security Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our residential occupants, staff, and property.

The estimated salary for this position is $20.00 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Security Guard who is dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring the safety and security of our residential occupants, staff, and property. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing protection of personnel and property, as well as ensuring the safety of the entire residential occupants and support staff.

You will work closely with our staff and residents to create a safe and supportive environment, and you will be expected to display agency core values at all times. You will also be required to be available at least 2 Saturdays per month and to have a NYS Security Guard License, High School Diploma/GED, CPR/First Aid Certification, and bilingual skills (a plus).

Responsibilities:

  • Protect personnel and property from harm.
  • Ensure the safety of residential occupants and staff.
  • Maintain order and prevent loitering.
  • Provide routine information to visitors and clients.
  • Record daily actions in the communication logbook.

Requirements:

  • NYS Security Guard License.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • Bilingual skills (a plus).
  • Ability to work at least 2 Saturdays per month.
