Key responsibilities include restraining animals when necessary, stocking examination and surgery rooms with supplies, sterilizing tools, and ensuring equipment is in working order. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and excellent communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a hands-on environment. They will also be energetic, compassionate, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends. The Veterinary Assistant will work individually and as part of a team, with a self-starter personality that can complete daily tasks without constant direction. Exemplary customer service skills are essential for interacting with clients over the phone and in person. The ideal candidate will have prior customer service experience and be able to lift 40 lbs.
