About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team at Ross Stores. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the overall success of our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and restocking merchandise.
  • Support the sales floor team by assisting with merchandise presentation, expediting new receipts, and maintaining a high level of awareness on the sales floor.
  • Assist with cash handling, processing transactions, and maintaining a high level of accuracy when handling bankable tenders.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and attractive shopping environment.
  • Collaborate with the sales floor team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful, and cooperative manner.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and productivity throughout the workday.
