Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the month-end closing process and preparing, reviewing, and distributing consolidated financial statements.
  • Conducting variance analysis on financial statements, elucidating changes month-over-month, year-over-year, and against budgetary expectations.
  • Performing accounting research to resolve inquiries and ensuring appropriate accounting practices are applied.
  • Providing timely responses to financial transaction inquiries from various departments.
  • Reconciling inventory accounts and reviewing all related balances.
  • Delivering analytical support to the Finance division and assisting with external and government audits.
  • Contributing to system automation initiatives to ensure financial systems are efficient, cost-effective, and meet Finance division requirements.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of internal accounting controls, policies, and procedures, identifying issues, and developing enhanced processes.
  • Supporting the management of cost pools and compliance with Disclosure Statement requirements.
  • Possessing a working knowledge of diverse government contract types.
  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing Equivalent Annual Cost (EAC).
