We are offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, to our Senior 2D Environment Artist.

Job Description

This role will play a key part in bringing our game worlds to life by creating visually appealing environments. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide a comprehensive visual foundation.

  • The Senior 2D Environment Artist will design and concept captivating environments that integrate seamlessly within the project art style.
  • They will participate in the iterative development process, incorporating notes and ideas, and making necessary adjustments to achieve the desired visual quality.
  • Close collaboration with other artists, designers, and developers will be required to ensure seamless integration of 2D assets into the pipeline.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • At least 3+ years of professional experience in environment art.
  • A solid understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
  • The ability to create assets that align with the hand-painted look of the game world.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the art team, leads, and production.
  • Passion for art, games, and knowledge of the games industry.
