SUMMARY The Sanitation Services Specialist is tasked with ensuring that a designated area of the healthcare facility is kept in a clean, organized, and visually appealing state.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough cleaning of assigned spaces (including dusting, vacuuming, washing surfaces and windows, emptying waste receptacles, etc.)
- Reporting any mechanical malfunctions or hazardous conditions
- Stripping, washing, and replacing linens as required
- Preparing the cleaning cart daily
- Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A high school diploma/GED or one year of relevant work experience in lieu of a diploma/GED is required.
  • Must pass a Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance, and an FBI criminal history check.
WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Potential exposure to chemicals/solvents 65.00%
  • Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Unloading Equipment up to 100lbs 35.00%
  • Frequently required/prolonged sitting, standing, or walking 80.00%
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch/crawl/climb stairs/ladders/small spaces 35.00%
