Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff members, including Assistant Managers, Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.
  • Customer Service: Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring staff provides exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Operations: Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, including daily cleaning responsibilities and ensuring the front desk area and lobby are clean and orderly.
  • Marketing: Manage marketing efforts, ensuring staff is aware and trained on all marketing promotions.
  • Financial Management: Authorize expenditures and refunds, and make daily bank deposits.
  • HR Administration: Prepare all HR-related forms and send to Corporate HR and Payroll Team.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track statistics and reports (weekly, monthly, annually).
  • Support and Development: Provide backup support for any employee who is absent, and participate in regular training and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One to three years of experience in a management role, preferably in the fitness or similar industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, team building, and coaching skills, with excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Physical Demands: Continual standing and walking, continual talking and listening, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
