Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - A Bachelor's degree with completion of necessary coursework and supervised practice as mandated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those pursuing registration after 2023, a master's degree will be required).

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of practical experience with the ability to work independently. Credentials Requirement:

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR); certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice; specialty credentials in specific areas of practice, if applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP).
