Overview:
Chenega MIOS SBU is in search of a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to become part of our dedicated team. This role involves supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, strategize, design, implement, enhance, or oversee security protocols for safeguarding computer networks and information across various security tiers.
- Establish effective security measures, frameworks, and data transfer methodologies/tools to protect digital assets and critical electronic infrastructure across diverse security domains.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Essential Qualifications:
- Associate degree OR
- High school diploma or GED along with active CSWF Certifications: CSWF Code 111, 211, 212, 221, 461, 511, 531, 541, 612, 622 or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and GIAC.
- Eligibility for Top Secret w/SCI clearance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Capability to work autonomously while being effective in a collaborative environment.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects under time constraints in a fast-paced contracting setting.
- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Friendly demeanor, helpful attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with others.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.
- Experience in a remote work environment and the ability to train end users on common technical issues.
- Capacity to provide technical support over the phone with strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Previous customer service experience is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to visualize challenges and think abstractly to resolve them.
