Maintenance Planner Job Description

About the Role:

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at the Avon Plant. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and confirm work orders and workload for mechanics and electricians on shifts.
  • Create and modify preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, search for cost-saving initiatives, and manage spare parts inventory.
  • Work closely with the Storeroom team to ensure timely delivery of parts and work orders.
  • Manage and maintain the SAP system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and achieve maintenance goals.

Requirements:

  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
  • Experience with MS Office and SAP.
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, including lock-out/tag-out and confined space entry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

The Maintenance Planner will work in a production facility with exposure to high noise levels, chemicals, and other hazards. The role requires regular lifting and moving of equipment, as well as working at heights and in confined spaces.
