Embedded Software Architect

As an Embedded Software Architect at Capgemini, you will play a key role in designing and developing embedded firmware systems for future AR, VR, and new platforms. Your expertise will be essential in architecting, designing, building, and testing these systems to ensure seamless integration and high-performance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the definition of architecture and implementation of designs in both prototype and shipping consumer products
  • Demonstrate good development practices and seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Design and implement drivers and services that operate efficiently in a constrained environment
  • Debug complex, system-level, multi-component issues that span across multiple layers from kernel to application
  • Profile performance problems and drive optimizations that span the entire software stack
  • Bring up new devices and lead debugging and performance tuning exercises that span multiple hardware/firmware/software engineers
  • Understand software components from multiple partner teams and lead the integration of those components into the unified product code base

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in C/C++
  • Proficiency in using software toolkits, code integration, and automation using Python
