Job Description

Aquatech is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer II to join our team in Canonsburg, PA. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading project design coordination, reviewing project specifications, and preparing project documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze project specifications to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Prepare and maintain project documents, including project master document lists
  • Lead project design coordination with internal engineering departments, external engineering agencies, and site contractors
  • Coordinate engineering document submissions to customers and vendors
  • Facilitate timely engineering reviews of vendor quotes and purchase requisitions
  • Responsible for accurately reporting engineering progress into the project schedule
  • Coordinate collection of necessary inputs to 3D models and resolution of issue tags
  • Provide status, control, and progress reporting support services on projects
  • Prepare project schedules per project requirement
  • Verify project progress and prepare monthly progress reports
  • Vendor follow-up and expediting
  • Periodic vendor visits to monitor progress
  • Attend customer meetings as required
  • Support correspondence with customers via the project manager
  • Internal communication with all departments and AIC Assembly shop
  • Track material status in SAP and update project status
  • Preparation of packing slips and related shipment documentation
  • Site visits during the construction phase
  • Coordinate engineering responses to RFI from subcontractors
  • Expedite critical engineering solutions during the construction phase
  • Ensure design changes are properly communicated to the project team and incorporated into the 3D model
  • Oversee as-built documentation for the project
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in a project-related industry
  • Prior water/wastewater infrastructure project experience preferred
