About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Supervisor to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of assigned staff, ensuring effective and efficient patient care delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate daily staffing assignments and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care.
  • Training and Development: Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations, providing input for hiring and termination procedures.
  • Patient Care Coordination: Coordinate patient care with other members of the team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired patient outcomes.
  • Quality Control: Assist with quality control testing, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Supply Management: Ensure adequate supply levels are maintained, perform audits of supply closets, and make adjustments as necessary.
Requirements
  • Licensure and Certification: Possess a valid BLS Provider certification and one or more of the following certifications: Cardiac Sonographer, Medical Sonographer, Cardiographic Tech, Nuclear Medical Tech, or Radiologic Technologist.
  • Education: Hold a high school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, an Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience, or 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
