Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing high-quality images for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and adjust equipment to perform exams, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards.
  • Implement quality control procedures and recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
  • Perform routine and complex studies, assisting in various imaging procedures.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography, Medical Sonographer, or Sonography Tech, obtained within 6 months of hire date.
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.
