Job Summary

This position oversees and manages homes providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of residents, assigning staff, auditing documentation, and providing training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign staff to various shifts and tasks
  • Audit documentation to ensure compliance
  • Provide training to staff on developmental disability services
  • Observe resident behavior and participate in interdisciplinary teams
  • Provide highly skilled services to individuals with behavioral and medical challenges
Requirements
  • High school diploma and four years of experience in developmental disability services
  • Experience as a supervisor and working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Valid New Mexico driver's license and defensive driving certification
  • Successful completion of HIPAA course
Working Conditions

This position requires working in office settings and community-based homes. The incumbent may be exposed to unpredictable violent behavior and must be able to lift, push, and transfer up to 50 pounds without assistance.
