Job Summary

Capstone Mining is seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering Studies team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Engineers and Project Managers to deliver medium to large-scale projects for Operational Improvements at our Pinto Valley mine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the development of engineering projects from scoping to commissioning.
  • Lead a team of Engineers and Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Capstone stakeholders, technical advisors, directors, and external subject matter experts to progress projects.
  • Develop and implement engineering plans, specifications, and documentation.
  • Provide project management and engineering support for capital projects as assigned.
  • Maintain and expand the engineering document control system.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
  • 10 years of experience managing Engineering and Construction projects.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing and supervising a project team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in Engineering.
  • PE Certification.
  • PMP Certification.
