Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel contract in Yuma, AZ, focusing on evaluations of preschool students.

What is a Travel Contract?
  • Will you be arranging separate housing while on assignment?
  • Will you be commuting 75+ miles to work?

If so, you qualify for housing and/or meals and incidentals stipend, an untaxed allowance that helps you with expenses incurred while on assignment.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate children referred for possible speech delays
  • Complete reports based on available data on student's eligibility for speech services
  • Make recommendations for appropriate goals and a therapy schedule that supports the child's needs
  • If needed, serve as part of a multi-disciplinary team in developing an IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan) for children with exceptional needs
  • Document student progress, and present this information to periodic meetings with staff and family
Requirements
  • SLP license from the Arizona Board of Speech and Hearing
  • Fingerprint clearance card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety
