We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Greenlife Healthcare Staffing. As a Medical-Surgical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities:- Assess and care for patients with a wide range of physical and psychological diagnoses
- Insert and maintain peripheral lines, as well as central lines for administration of intravenous fluid
- Provide emergency care as indicated, including administration of medications and blood products
- Verify physician orders and complete accurate documentation of care
- Perform phlebotomy and bedside testing, as well as provide psychological support to patients
- Maintain complex wound dressing care and may be required to work with COVID-19-positive patients
- Minimum of 3 years current experience in an acute care, medical/surgical unit in an urban, academic Medical Center setting
- Unrestricted registered nurse license from any state (United States)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in a related field, or a master's degree in Nursing or in a related field is highly preferred
- Competitive hourly rate of $57.50
- Vacation time, federal holidays, and sick days
