CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT –

POSITION OVERVIEW:


We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our residents and their families.

The Nursing Assistant will play a crucial role in providing essential care services and assisting in the planning and implementation of engaging activities for our residents.

The ideal candidate is a caring professional with a strong commitment to confidentiality and prior experience in a long-term care environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene as needed.
  • Respond promptly to resident requests for assistance or care and notify medical personnel of any urgent situations.
  • Encourage residents to engage in physical activities and participate in organized events.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties including changing bed linens, cleaning resident rooms, and managing waste disposal.
  • Collaborate with dining staff to ensure residents receive appropriate meals and support during mealtime.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred).
  • Current CNA / Certified Nursing Aide certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong bedside manner.
  • Capability to work collaboratively as a member of a healthcare team.
