Job Title: Experienced Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Inova Health System. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Job Summary:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited CoARC respiratory care program.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 2+ years of experience in respiratory care, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
