Job Opportunity

An adjunct instructor is appointed on a term contract for instructional assignments. They are not assigned to other responsibilities such as professional service or college service. They have no right to reappointment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and teach courses emphasizing Electrical Maintenance.
  • Provide effective instruction possible in one's discipline to ensure students' educational needs are met.
  • Teach assigned courses, following official syllabi and using approved learning materials.
  • Meet all classes regularly and on time, and for their full duration.
  • Evaluate student performance and assign grades.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, etc.
  • Meet deadlines in submitting grades or required information.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical discipline and applicable certifications.
  • Additional direct experience and current licenses related to program requirements.
  • Current expertise in curricular areas included in the program.
Compensation Package

The estimated salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 per year based on the Adjunct Pay Schedule.

Work Environment
  • Position requires frequent movement, standing, walking, sitting, and handling small objects.
  • May include climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, and exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional toxic chemicals.
  • Noise levels in the work environment are usually loud.
