Job Title: Therapist

Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is seeking a skilled Therapist to join our team. As a Therapist, you will provide clinical and behavioral therapy to youth and families, serving as a liaison to Community Based Care representatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, developing and maintaining case records and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams, attending meetings and providing recommendations.
  • Implement behavior management programs, monitoring progress and adapting to changing needs.
  • Advocate for youth, serving as a liaison with CBC workers and families.
  • Participate in court proceedings, discharge planning, and vocational development training.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
  • Two years of experience working with troubled and disadvantaged youth.
  • Valid Florida Driver License and safe driving record.
  • Graduate-level coursework in human growth and development, diagnosis and treatment of psychopathology, and other related areas.
