Position Title: Radiologic Technologist

Dignity Health Methodist Hospital of Sacramento is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services to the communities we serve. Our facility is equipped with a 158-bed acute-care hospital and a dedicated team of over 1,120 professionals, including 283 medical staff members and a 29-bed Emergency Department.

In addition to our hospital services, we manage Bruceville Terrace, a 171-bed skilled nursing facility designed for long-term care and rehabilitation.

Our institution proudly offers a Family Medicine Residency Program, recognized nationally for its excellence in training future family medicine specialists. This program is complemented by a unique curriculum aimed at identifying and supporting victims of human trafficking, leading to the establishment of the Human Trafficking Medical Home clinic.

  1. Execute general radiographic procedures along with more intricate tasks as directed by physicians.
  2. Exhibit proficiency in patient care across various age demographics.
  3. Engage in the department's on-call schedule, covering nights, weekends, and holidays.
  4. Perform a variety of imaging procedures while adhering to high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and hold current certification as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.

Additional qualifications include a solid understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, radiation safety protocols, and expertise in operating x-ray machinery.

  1. Demonstrated competence in general radiology and at least one additional modality, such as Angiography/Special Procedures, MRI, or CT.
  2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  3. Prioritize patient privacy, comfort, and safety throughout all procedures.
