Job Title: Banquet Bartender

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and hard-working Banquet Bartender to join our team at Embassy Suites. As a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

* Interact with customers, take orders for drinks and snacks
* Plan and present bar menu
* Serve snacks and drinks to customers
* Check identification of guests to ensure they meet age requirements for alcohol purchase
* Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with hotel standards
* Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
* Service wine and beer to guests
* Arrange bottles and glasses to create attractive displays
* Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
* Ability to sell or influence others for up-selling and suggestive selling
* Provide recommendations and suggestions to guests for choosing drinks and snacks
* Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner
* Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions
* Clean up after customers and maintain a clean work area
* Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning glass doors and windows, etc.
* Perform physical activities such as lifting and stooping
* Maintain liquor inventory
* Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts
* Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures as per hotel standards
* Prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies
* Ensure the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests

Requirements:

* One to two years of experience in a similar role
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
* One to two years of experience bartending
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English, and other languages are an advantage
* Good personality and positive interpersonal skills required
* Dependability and regular attendance
* Ability to work evenings and weekends
