We're excited to announce a new opportunity at Willow Innovations As a Lead Firmware Validation Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our medical devices. With 8 years of experience in firmware/embedded systems and strong Python programming skills, you'll be well-equipped to own the formal firmware validation process and translate high-level requirements into use cases and test procedures.

You'll work closely with our engineering team to develop and implement new test fixtures for hardware in the loop testing and analyze product specifications to ensure quality and safety. The estimated salary for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing new test fixtures for hardware in the loop testing
  • Analyzing product specifications to ensure quality and safety
  • Managing junior team members in our testing efforts
  • Owning the formal firmware validation process
  • Translating high-level requirements into use cases and test procedures
