Job Summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Manufacturing Specialist. This role will focus on collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to maintenance and operations teams to reduce equipment downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of manufacturing equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Spending 70% of time on the production floor, observing, making recommendations for process improvements, and interacting with operators, maintenance, reliability, and operations teams.
  • Assess and report safety hazards associated with low to medium voltage equipment.
  • Preferred knowledge and troubleshooting skills of overhead and gantry cranes.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, controls, drives, DC/AC control systems, and 13.8 KV/480 KV power systems.
  • PLC programming (ex. Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon).
  • Work with frequency drives, combustion systems, and instrumentation control.
  • Utilize knowledge of National Electrical Code, including NFPA70E.
  • Estimate maintenance/project cost and accurate timelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in a heavy industrial setting.
  • Experience working on equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  • Willingness to spend significant time on the production floor interacting with operators, the engineering team, and operations.
  • Ability to perform the duties listed above.
  • Due to Governmental contracts, applicants must be US Citizens or possess eligibility under TN NAFTA guidelines.

A competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year, a benefits package including medical, dental, life, disability, paid time off, and an automatic and matching employer 401K contribution.
