Emergency Department Staff Nurse

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team in Arlington, Virginia.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our Level 1 Trauma Center. As an RN in our Emergency Department, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines to provide evidence-based care.
- Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the acute care setting, preferably in the Emergency Department.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
