As a Pest Management Specialist, you will assist clients in recognizing and addressing various pest issues. Your duties will also encompass evaluating client properties, providing guidance on potential treatment methods, and ensuring that work areas are left clean and free of any debris.
To excel in this position, you should possess strong organizational skills, efficiency, and effective problem-solving abilities. Daily interactions with clients require a patient and respectful demeanor, as you will be representing Integrity Pest Management.
State regulations mandate that the technician must successfully complete examinations for the general applicator license and specific categories. Following successful completion of these tests, practical training will commence.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct inspections of buildings or outdoor areas to assess conditions.
- Analyze reports or designs to determine necessary work.
- Advise clients on suitable products or services.
- Administer treatments to eradicate pests.
- Establish barriers to prevent pest entry into structures.
- Safely clean and dispose of pesticides post-application.
- Set mechanical traps and strategically place bait.
- Remove deceased rodents following extermination.
- Complete all required documentation upon job completion.
- Develop and implement pest management strategies.
- Identify opportunities to promote additional services and products offered by the company.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Preferred: A minimum of one year of experience in professional pest control.
- Comprehensive understanding of pesticide application and characteristics.
- Physical capability to bend, climb, reach, kneel, etc., for extended durations.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Self-motivated and dependable.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to work evenings or weekends as necessary.
