Clinical Fellowship Supervisor for Speech Language Pathology

Position Overview:
The Stepping Stones Group is seeking experienced CCC-SLPs to provide mentorship and supervision for Clinical Fellows in the field of Speech Language Pathology.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive supervision for Clinical Fellows in accordance with ASHA standards, ensuring a minimum of 6 hours of direct, on-site supervision and 6 hours of indirect supervision activities during each segment of the fellowship.
- Guide Clinical Fellows towards becoming proficient independent practitioners of SLP services through effective mentorship and constructive feedback.
- Enhance the clinical capabilities of the Clinical Fellow by offering valuable mentoring experiences and assisting in the development of essential clinical skills.
- Maintain timely completion of all documentation, feedback, and evaluations as per the established standards.
- Facilitate opportunities for Clinical Fellows to observe and accurately assess all required skills outlined in the 2020 CFSI.
- Ensure compliance with the minimum supervisory activities required for each segment to validate the hours and weeks accrued.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional and ethical practices in all mentoring activities.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a school environment as an ASHA Certified SLP.
- Possession of a valid state license and ASHA CCC-SLP throughout the duration of the Clinical Fellowship.
- Completion of at least two hours of professional development in supervision after obtaining the CCC-SLP (resources can be provided if necessary).
Compensation: The mentor will receive a monthly stipend for each Clinical Fellow under their supervision.
