National Material Processing (NMP) is a leading provider of metals processing and supply-chain management solutions. We are seeking an experienced Millwright Technician to join our fast-growing team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Millwright Technician to work on various industrial projects. The successful candidate will use specialized tools to build and repair machines, ensuring they operate properly and our facilities remain safe.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment, performing preventative and predictable maintenance tasks
- Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process and packaging equipment
- Effectively communicate with operators, peers, supervisors, and all levels of management
- Provide support where needed and complete all duties assigned by team leader
- Adhere to all safety policies, including Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO), confined space procedures, and all other plant safety policies
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with equipment and machinery
- Strong communication and computational skills
- An eye for detail
- Team spirit
- High school diploma or GED is necessary
- 1-3 years in the manufacturing industry is preferred
- Previous machine operation, material handling, production, or other warehouse-related experience is mandatory
