About the Position

Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to work with an elementary school student on a full-time basis. This opportunity is perfect for individuals who are passionate about education and communication.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality sign language interpretation services to support the educational needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure effective communication and a smooth learning environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and school personnel to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in an educational setting.
  • A valid Georgia Interpreter license and a score of 3.5 or higher on the EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
