Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

At Soliant, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a school near La Cienega, New Mexico. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with students with diverse needs.

Position Details

We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist with a strong background in speech and language therapy to provide therapy services to students with articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension, and expression disorders. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution and a valid NM SLP License or ability to obtain before the start date.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and in collaboration with the IEP team
  • Provide therapy services to students with diverse needs, targeting areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension, and expression
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the students' academic curriculum and daily routines
Qualifications and Salary

The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students.

Key qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid NM SLP License or ability to obtain before start date
  • ASHA CCC preferred, Clinical Fellows, CFY are encouraged to apply
  • Strong understanding of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and evidence-based therapy techniques
