Medical Assistant Certified Professional
About the Job:This role involves performing various front and back office clerical duties in support of assigned areas. Responsibilities include collecting patient data, obtaining medical history, preparing instruments for sterilization, maintaining a sanitary work area, and coordinating appointments. May also perform basic cashiering duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and record patient information, including medical history and treatment procedures
- Prepare and maintain equipment and instruments for use
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and verify medical coverage
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or completion of an accredited program
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification within 30 days of hire
This role may involve heavy physical demands, requiring exertion of up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds constantly to move objects or people. The working conditions may expose the employee to chemicals and bio-hazardous materials, requiring personal protective equipment.
