The Financial Operations Manager at OakBend Medical Center is responsible for overseeing the entire Patient Accounting department, ensuring seamless operations and efficient management of customer service, transaction entry, refunds, billing, collections, and other support areas.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement processes for patient billing, insurance claims filing, insurance follow-up, self-pay follow-up, bad debt referrals, charity classification, and contractual adjustments.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with processes by the staff, ensuring the performance of OakBend Medical Center's accounts receivables.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff, including hiring, coaching, discipline, and accountabilities associated with staff job performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Associate degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Two years of job-related experience.
- Computer literacy, good verbal and written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills.
Normally scheduled Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work additional hours due to increased workload, special projects, or volume fluctuations.
