About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant II to join our Global Financial Reporting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for bank reconciliations for various legal entities and currencies. You will also supervise or mentor junior members of the team, helping them with questions and reviewing their work on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor junior members of the team, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
  • Manage junior staff, building a sense of community and setting goals for growth and development.
  • Prepare domestic and international bank reconciliations, requiring knowledge and experience with foreign exchange transactions and issues.
  • Prepare other cash-related GL account reconciliations.
  • Process daily exceptions in Oracle and bank websites for cleared activity.
  • Work with other groups to coordinate the research of stale-dated checks and unclaimed property processes, including escheatment.
  • Participate in month-end processes and prepare journal entries pertaining to cash activity.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual audit schedules and engage with both internal and external auditors.
  • Run the tools used to track, reconcile, and journalize daily cash activity.
  • Be involved in special projects, including creating or improving processes, preparing analyses, and working with technical groups for Oracle implementations or improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of cash reconciliation experience in a global environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of mentoring or supervising experience and a desire for future management responsibilities.
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other large ERP systems is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, including the ability to act as the primary owner of individual projects, analyses, or processes.
  • Meticulous, organized, efficient, and a self-starter, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and mathematical skills.
  • Agreeable, positive, and enthusiastic attitude, with the capability to deal effectively with people both internally and externally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of basic programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
