About Radians Inc: Radians Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high-performance Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the industrial, construction, and safety markets. We are seeking a Procurement Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in importing and contract management, with a strong background in establishing and improving processes to synergize Purchasing, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, and Compliance Management teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a supply strategy that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory, and maximizes customer satisfaction through world-class service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a supply strategy that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory, and maximizes customer satisfaction through world-class service.
* Establish strategic parameters and processes across purchasing team to effectively manage inventory levels while improving product turn metrics and fulfillment (serviceability) rates.
* Provide leadership and strategic direction to the supply team (Demand Planning, Procurement, and Inbound Transportation).
* Establish performance benchmarks and work with suppliers through a scorecard system, allowing for more effective vendor management of 3rd party suppliers.
* Improve ROI with 3rd Party Freight Forward Service vendors; establishing priority preference contract agreements to shorten delivery time of direct shipment containers from suppliers.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business, etc.
* 10-15 years of experience in importing and contract management.
* Strong background in establishing and improving processes to synergize Purchasing, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, and Compliance Management teams.
* Ability to negotiate for better pricing and buying terms.
