Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS procedures and protocols
  • Investigate and report on all incidents and accidents, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Develop and maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements, including permits, reports, and records
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into all business operations
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry best practices, and provide recommendations for improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in EHS, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies, as well as industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001, OSHA VPP, ISO 45001)
  • Experience with EHS software and systems
