Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at 48forty Solutions and Relogistics Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Warehouse Operations: Oversee the entire warehouse operation, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
  • Lead a Team: Supervise and manage a team of warehouse personnel, including office administrators, general laborers, and forklift drivers.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate goals, manage staff schedules, and coordinate workloads to achieve facility goals.
  • Maintain Quality and Safety Standards: Ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding company standards.
  • Train and Develop Associates: Train and develop associates to ensure they are following company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Manage Customer Relationships: Manage customer relationships for the site, ensuring that all customer needs are met.
  • Participate in Hiring and Onboarding: Participate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and assigning work to new associates.
  • Manage Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with Corporate HR team.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all company policies regarding HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and HR are followed, in conjunction with federal, state, and local employment law.
  • Analyze and Improve Operations: Analyze site data to make continuous improvements in operational excellence.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Monitor Performance: Monitor each employee's performance and workload to ensure expectations are met.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required. 5+ years applicable experience, preferably in retail management, distribution, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish required.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System) preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate. Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths.
  • Visual Requirements: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes).
