Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our Southeast Engineering and Remediation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solid waste management, landfill design, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop engineering solutions for solid waste management projects, including landfill design, permitting, and operations.
  • Develop and implement stormwater management plans, erosion and sediment control measures, and grading plans.
  • Conduct site planning, landfill capacity analysis, and facility siting and design.
  • Manage and troubleshoot landfill gas collection and control systems, leachate systems, and other waste management infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement odor assessment and mitigation strategies, ambient air monitoring, and other environmental monitoring programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 1-4 years of experience in landfill design, operations, and management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license.
