Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

HCA MidAmerica Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri.

Job Summary

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician will assist with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology patient procedures in the catheterization labs. This role requires a strong understanding of radiographic imaging, patient physiologic monitoring, and cardiac arrhythmias recognition.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology patient procedures
  • Collect and assemble data for database, outcome analysis, and performance improvement
  • Comply with principles of sterile technique
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes to the Cath Lab when on call
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program preferred
  • Two years of current experience in Cath lab may be substituted for completion of Radiology Technologist program or invasive cardiovascular technologist (CVT) program completion
  • Current BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date and maintained
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of start date
  • Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RT licensure preferred
