Job Summary

Kronospan LLC is seeking a skilled Flooring Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our flooring line equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain packaging and manufacturing equipment to meet production standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and workspaces to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel and other machine operators to support continuous operations on the production line.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment, components, and systems, or the improvement of existing equipment, components, and systems as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures as scheduled or directed.
  • Inspect and monitor material quality to meet established standards.
  • Work closely with team members, supervisors, and leadership to identify, report, and correct quality issues, productivity improvements, or cost reduction initiatives.
  • Comply with safety expectations, including wearing PPE at all times and safe operation of a forklift.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and adjust packaging machine and other various equipment throughout the plant.
  • Ability to communicate with team members, supervisors, and leadership regarding daily production.
  • Ability to utilize computer programs to input, monitor, research, and track orders according to customer requirements.
  • Ability to remove excess material from production lines.
  • Ability to identify root cause of issues during production and document issue(s) on action logs.
  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift.
