A successful Construction Manager at M.C. Dean, Inc. will oversee and manage internal construction and capital projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards, safety regulations, and building codes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, regulations, and safety standards, as well as proficiency in project management software tools and MS Office Suite.

Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, monitoring project progress and quality, and conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

The Construction Manager will also be responsible for implementing effective risk management strategies, preparing project estimates, budgets, and cost forecasts, and monitoring project expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Additionally, the Construction Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among project team members.

Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, with 7-9 years of experience in construction project management, preferably within the commercial / facilities / capital project sector.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

This position requires frequent travel to project sites and may involve working in outdoor environments and inclement weather conditions.

A Construction Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects, requiring a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and effective communication and leadership abilities.
