River City Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager - Industrial Projects to join our team. As an Onsite Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and the public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design and implement effective safety programs to mitigate operational, safety, and environmental risks on our industrial projects.
  • Conduct Site Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Provide Safety Training and Coaching: Provide safety training and coaching to employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely.
  • Investigate Incidents and Accidents: Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
  • Develop and Maintain Safety Documentation: Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation, including safety policies, procedures, and reports.
  • Collaborate with Project Teams: Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of project planning and execution.

Requirements

  • Experience in Safety Management: Minimum 2 years of experience in safety management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field, and OSHA 30 Hour Construction certification.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
