Job Summary

Dignity Health is seeking a highly skilled Nursing Manager to lead our ICU and Emergency Services teams. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the resources and daily activities of our Emergency Department and ICU, ensuring a high standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule nursing staff to specific shifts, taking into account past utilization trends.
  • Measure employee performance and assist in the training and development of new and existing staff members.
  • Coordinate the activities of the unit during a particular shift and direct, organize, and assign work to the nursing staff.
  • Assess, monitor, and educate the nursing staff on patient care, and institute emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Provide nursing care to patients on an as needed basis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional job-related experience in lieu of the degree.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in ER or ICU and one (1) year of leadership experience.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification.

Pay Range

$89.19/hour
