Physical Therapist Assistant PRN

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Concentra Medical Centers. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient care and support in an orthopedic setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with orthopedic injuries or conditions.
- Provide technical assistance and support to patients during physical therapy sessions, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with Concentra's policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, Physical Therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and coordination.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge in physical therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state where the work is performed.
- Previous experience in an orthopedic setting, with use of modalities, therapeutic exercises, and isokinetic equipment.

- Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions.
- Outstanding customer service skills, as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner that shows tact and professionalism.
- The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies.
This position is performed in a clinical office environment, with occasional to frequent exposure to communicable disease, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment. The ability to work in a demanding environment, to work a flexible schedule, and to effectively resolve conflicts as they arise is required.
This position involves frequent to continuous reaching, standing, and walking for prolonged periods of time. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds is also required. Corrected or normal vision is required in the performance of tasks inherent to office work. Moderate typing skills and manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier, and such other office equipment as necessary are also required.
This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the range of $___ to $___ hourly, depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
