Job Summary:

Diocese of Venice is seeking a reliable and experienced part-time bus driver and monitor to transport students safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL license, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to student safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport students from Arcadia to St. Charles Borromeo School in Port Charlotte and return in the afternoon.
  • Arrive at destinations on schedule and maintain accurate mileage records.
  • Ensure the bus is in good working condition and perform routine maintenance as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and at least one year of experience driving a school bus required.
  • Must have a CDL license with the appropriate endorsements to drive a school bus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students and parents.
  • Must be able to pass a level 2 background screening including MVR and pre-employment drug testing.

Requirements:
